My name is Jordan. I have two places I call home right now: Forest Park, Illinois (Chicagoland) where my parents live, and Lawrence, Kansas, where I'm a graduate student at the University of Kansas.

I'm studying architecture, planning, and design and loving (almost) every minute of it.

I love to cook, and travel, and sing and play the piano.

Yoga, working out, and anything healthy are a relatively new and growing obsession of mine.

I'd like to call myself a pescetarian, but really I just prefer seafood over red meat.

Harry Potter and Downton Abbey are my loves.

I'm an only child, and love my friends and family with all my heart! They are my support and care through my highs and my lows.

 

But above everything else, I love my God, and Jesus.

I'm still trying to figure out the ins-and-outs of life. It has been a lot of work, and some major carrying from God, to get me to where I am today, and I am still learning!

The one thing I am ABSOLUTELY certain in life is that my purpose is to love God with as much courage and affirmation as He gives to me.

I think of this blog as a way to explore life. Getting thoughts out of my head and into writing helps me process and understand emotions when I can't make sense of the fog.
